This telephone has some unique features that make it stand out from the crowd.  Firstly you can create two different user profiles where the tone, volume and boost settings are tailored to your hearing.  Secondly, at the press of a button the next user can switch back to the profile they have set for themselves.  This is ideal for households with mixed hearing, as it means the phone is ready to use at the press of a button without needed to check the volume and tone first.  This model has no answering machine, the T399 has this feature if you would prefer one.

The 5 band graphic equaliser allows you to set the tone more accurately than most other phones.  There also the Powertel 58 T403 available which has some similar features but comes in the big button, corded format.
